New member, looking for a good forum home to settle in. Seems like accord forums up here in Canada doesnt seem to be so popular so i stumbled upon this one thanks to google . anyways. Im from Toronto. 25 yrs of age. Father of 2 wonderful boys and 4 years married. Also sub-married to "my" first owned accord. 1994 Honda Accord LX Coupe. F22b2 Motor all stock but since ive owned the car the past year, have done some minor"ish" work to it. Real works coming in this year specially in the summer with lowering the car and in the winter of 2013 when the motor will be boosted Got this from my cousin who never abused it but abandoned it for a year or so. pretty much got the car for free. Current motor when i first got it was at 320,000kms on it. Now has about 334,000kms on it and still going strong. Had to do some minor clean up of the engine to pass emissions. So far have dropped less than $1500 to this day.

2013 Summer Preview:






Whats been done to the car:

New Rad
New Oil Pressure Switch (typical honda leak)
New Cat and Exhaust
AEM short ram air intake with Ractive cone filter
New Oil Pan and Gasket
New Valve cover gaskets and O-Ring Bottom Valve seals
New Main Relay (worst thing to go specially in the summer)
New deck (cheap sony xplod) and new speakers (fronts 4in sony xplods rears 6x9 audiobahn speakers)
10" sub sony xplod and sony xpld 600w amp
New wires and plugs (replaced every other oil change)


What the plans are for the summer:

Currently on order are skunk2 sport shocks and skunk2 lowering springs
16x7 rims being repainted to same colour. Not too sure what rims they are. Got them used for under 400 bux. Looks like legit ADVAN wheels.
Currently on order 205/50r16 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires
OEM Inner and Outer Tie Rods being replaced (waiting on skunk2 parts to arrive to be installed)

Nice job on the quarter paint. Wheels.... um.. I guess orange wouldn't have been my color choice.

 

haha... yea well i run those for winter... kinda have the yellow soccer ball while playing in the snow kinda type... the summer wheels are being patined the same colour as they were before... plus those winter wheels are 14's which ill be scrapping sometime soon after mother nature feels like it should stop snowing down here

 

OK, I thought when you said "same color" you meant same as the other wheels. Allright then, I'll approve . (as if you need our permission...)
