Hello all! Just wanted to check in and get registered. I just bought an '88 Accord, 109K miles. I'll be using it as my "winter beater" while my Corvette hibernates. The Accord drives very well. Starts up no problem. No smoke, no noises. Everything works, even the A/C! The only thing that doesn't work is the power antenna, and I don't care about that. Think it's good for another 100K?

Welcome!! My brother just sold his 93 accord with 327,000 miles on it and it still runs good because I see the guy that bought it still driving it around town. Tell me that isn't good! Hondas are good they will last for ever.

I'm out in the west suburbs. I travel to the city almost daily for work. Traffic here is brutal! So far so good with the old Accord. Starts right up every morning! Is there a cure for the high idle? Idles high even when warmed up.
