I live in Campbell River, British Columbia. We are retired and spend 6 months driving a motorhome around Mexico.
I inherited an 1989 Accord exi from my father in 1996. He bought it new. It had low mileage on it when I got it and was meticulously taken care of. Since then we have used the car and towed it on a dolly across the USA and around mexico six times. The odometer reads 269,000 KM but the back end has probably another hundred thousand from being towed.
I love the car and this year treated it to a paint job in Mexico. There was a little rust on one quarter panel and that was repaired. The car has never been in a serious accident. My dad backed into a truck once and had to replace the trunk lid but that was it.
The car runs great. It started having starting/flooding problems but a new battery fixed that. I am glad to have found this forum!
