New from new england...
Hows everyone doing, my name is Brian. Im new to the forum but not new to forums in general. Just recently got myself into a CD accord wagon. Ive had 3 cb7 sedans but this is my first wagon. Traded my dropped s10 for it a week ago, mainly because my fiance and I just had twins in august and the extended cab pickup just wasnt cutting it anymore.
But yeah anyways its a 96 LX with 144k on it. MINT MINT MINT body, no rust anywhere. Under carraige is the same even the stock fuel/brake lines still have the factory coating on them, which is extremly rare with the new england winters. The interior is also spotless and even has the factory floor mats (unstained.) The car is all stock exept for a set of ugly 15" alloys that I need to get rid of badly. And I threw a set of 10k HIDs in that I had in my s10. I picked up an apexi ws2 muffler and a magnaflow high flow cat off a buddy (seeing there is a toyota resonator where the cat is supposed to be
) and ive gotten pretty close with my local custom exhaust shop so ill be having them make me a nice cat back. Ive been looking into a set of function form one piece coilovers that are pretty reasonably priced that im planning on getting over the winter and a nice set of function form LCAs as well. Im still up in the air of what rout I want to go engine wise...as I really miss boost, but on the other hand ive never had an h22 and have always been interested in that swap, and from what ive learned boost=greater chance of un-reliability. But GOD DO I MISS BOOST! Ive already been reading up on the 5 lug/rear disc conversion, I would love to put the newer civic SI 5 lugs on the accord, or even a set of the new accord wheels. Ive seen alot of good info on here already.
