Hey everyone. I have a 1994 Accord EX-R Auto 4dr Sedan with a V-TEC motor. I am considering parting the vehicle out. My question is....is it worth parting it out?? Is there a demand for parts off this car?? If there is, it's off to the classifieds...any info is greatly appreciated.

Car runs fine, but I haven't had luck selling it. It's got 230K kms, 16" 5-spoke rims...black on grey cloth...almost mint condition, but for some reason I've been getting ridiculous offers like $400, $500 for it. I wanna let it go for closer to $5000 CDN.

Any advice?

 

Ist thing to let everyone know who is not Canadian is how much american money is your
$5000 Canadian...
Secondly...parts are always fairly easy to sell but once the good stuff gets bought, then what do you do with the left overs???

In US dollars, it would be around $4400.

The parts left from the car...I have no idea lol. I'm just looking to get the most I can out of the car as it is. Within a few months the owner is leaving the country and leaving the car behind. So it's just going to sit.

Just wondering what the best option is. The car has desirable parts like a complete VTEC motor and working auto tranny. The car has lots of new parts, but the owner just doesn't want to do invest in it anymore. It's a good friend of mine that's pretty much left it up to me....

 

Different country and made in the UK. My 96 2.0i (non VTec) worth around £600-800 (101k ml) About $1100-$1500 USD.

If it was a Civic then I would expect £1500!

 

there is a high demand for the parts but you would have to take them out, which would take too much time and work to do, it wouldnt be worth it. if your a motivated seller, then you should sell it for a motivating price, like 3500 canadian. welcome to the site
