Hi there!

Just obtained a new (to me) 2006 Accord V6 EX-L sedan for my birthday yesterday. Already ordered wheels for it last week and arrived today. Now waiting on tires to arrive. Black leather inside, silver on the outside. Soon to be in the paint booth. Hope I can make some great acquaintances here and learn the ins and outs of my Honda. I am familiar with Nissan since I have owned over 7 Nissans since my first vehicle. I've had two Civics, kept stock, in the past and loved them. My work environment consists of minitruckin, and my hobbies in prerunner trucks, so this is a nice breath of fresh air. I am from Northern California, near the Sacramento Valley but travel to Bay Area often. If someone could forward me in the right direction to the local meet and greets that would be great and much appreciated.

Now... where is the spot to find out what's the best intake?

Welcome to HAF.

There are some sections for checking into intakes and any "meets".

Thanks for joining.

It depends. I don't check in every day, but count this as another 'hello.'

Besides the rims, rubber, and intake, any other ideas for the car?

Thanks.

Doing my research on what intake and cat back set-up to pick. It'll be in the paint booth next month. Switch box, air bags, struts, etc...all under way.

Take some before and after pic's....if you haven't already. That way you can always keep up with where you began and where you are.....

Talking And Still Another Hello

Hi Member...Welcome to the HAF.

This is a pretty great tech forum website more than most others. If you hang around long enuff you will see that we have a real diverse number of people on here who know their stuff and not so many who come in to just play.

That's the difference with our site and members..

Here she is during a 4 hour cruise from 100' up to over 4000' above sea level around tight bends and twists. Handled great! Left a few tire marks here and there. Mt. Lassen Volcanic Park, Northern California. The BEFORE image.

So what are you painting? I can't see anything in the pic that looks out of line.
