Hello everyone this is Rammeh coming atcha from Brick City NJ where we got more donut circles than we have crosswalks!
My 91 EX 240k 5sp, died this week due to need of head gasket surgery. Not sure what I'm going to do with her yet. But I picked up a 96 LX 181k 5sp, with no damn roof. :-)
I know or hope, that it only needs valve cover gasket and O rings (I got oil in the spark plugs). That's a diy for me. Also needs a new upper timing belt cover cause whoever did the timing belt @ 160k left part of the belt exposed (also diy). Luckily the belt seems intact, can't say as much for the cover. Sounds like a small hole in the muffler or exhaust. (gonna have to pay for that one)
She runs strong and is pretty clean, no body damage and only 2 small spots on the passenger side. Seller told me engine was rebuilt at 164k, 3 years ago, that concerns me a little.
