Q on V4 or V6
Hello, I am in the market for a Honda Accord, its been many years since I've owned an accord, since my 1982 which was just a wonderful car. After many years of the SUV era, its time to scale back and get something more friendly on the wallet. I'm going between a 2004 V6 or a 2005 V4 and I have several questions. One, were there any signicant changes between 2004 and 2005? And what are people impressions about whether the V6 is worth the extra money. I like the idea of having the extra 80 horses, but the dealer guy also told me that the V4 had more low end torque, which I didn't agree with. Anyways, I'm a newbie and would welcome any advice. Thanks in advance.

RE: Q on V4 or V6
firist of all its a I4 not V4 because the cylinders are in a straight line not a V.
Second of all the I4 is def the way to go, the K24 is the best motor honda has made to date, the limit of power it can make has not been found yet, incrediable aftermarket support.
where as the V6 makes more hp stock yes, but has no aftermarket support.
but i guess if you arent really into tuning cars then v6, but if you think you are, or ever will be into modifying your car, the 4 banger is the only way to go.

I went with the V6 after a few test drives. I don't plan on modding my car at all, with exception of maybe a deck lid spoiler and a K&N filter, nothing too exciting. Anyways, the V6 was such a huge surprise, awesome power. Plus, I got a 05 with 70K miles equipped with everything including Nav for $14.5K so I couldn't pass it up. The 4 Cylinder model was fun, but the deal i got for the 6 banger was too good. Thanks for your input.
