Hi all,
New here, and have been spending hours reading thread after thread on transmissions. Seems these cars give never ending joy in that department! Noticed the same on the Acura and Odessey forums too!

01 Honda Accord, V6 EX, 4spd Silver - bought used about 6 mos ago from original owner. Well maintained etc.

Now trying to get into the tranny problem.


Not new to cars

Others include:

94 Land Rover Disco
95 BMW 740IL
72 Triumph TR6
Bike: 02 Suzuki VL1500

Was hoping that the honda was a daily driver, as most of the others are not!!

Yes as I have now seen and experienced, its a royal PITA. I have spent hours on it so far, under the hood and on line.

Well I hope you don't get too discouraged with it..They really are good cars...

 

I know, its just a wierd problem.

Possible sticking solenoids?
