hey guys, i own a 99 accord ex coupe 2.3L 4cyl. a bunch of dudes at my work think its stupid to tune an accord. theyre always hating on my ride. ARE THEY RIGHT??! Is it really not worth tuning my accord for more power???

 

It's worth it if you think it is worth it.

 

Do you like the Accord? What do they drive? Do you get in THEIR face about how the Accord is better then their cars?

If YOU like the Accord, that's what counts.

Most ppl out there tend to hit on something because they are secretly jealous or blindly ignorant or just think the world gave them a soapbox to inflict their opinions on those that don't want it m8.

My next door neighbour was the same when he saw my wagon... then I showed him the interior... then I lifted the bonnet... he's not so mouthy now especially as my ol' Accord can kick his pathetic Renault Clio into the mud and I can do it with style and comfort unlike his French rotbox

 

Lol, you know i'm just joking! I had a '99 Civic EX 5speed coupe that i sold with 209,000 miles on it, and still was getting 28 mpg in the city, the only problem it ever had was both window regulators. Everything else was regularly serviced (timing belts etc) it still had the original clutch.

 

I'd love to have a Civic Coupe!

 

The current Civic coupe is pretty cool too. I actuallylike the seats better than my Saabaru for the waytheir side bolsters fit me. Small-ish steering wheel feels good too. Mine's an LX but I bet the Si is pretty nice.

What I DON'T like about the current Civic is access in the engine bay. The windshield goes so far forward that it almost covers up the valve cover. Anything between the engine & firewall, you have to get from underneath.

 

If you like it, it's all that matters. No matter what car you drive there will always be people who talk smack. Who cares what they say as long as you are happy.
