Default Thinking Of Buying an Accord...

So my Mom has a 1999 4D Accord EX w/ 115000 miles. She's wanting to buy a new accord and I'm thinking about buying her old one. This car is in great condition and has been well maintained. We know the people who she bought it from at 40,000 and they were an old couple who were very easy on it. They took it to the dealer for it's regular service, and Mom has continued to do this ever since.

I have a 2002 Audi A4 that I absolutely love. That said, it has cost me quite a bit to maintain and continues to do so... I had to drop $6000 on a (CVT) transmission. Ouch. It's got 90,000 on it now and still has some ongoing (unrelated) issues.

Anyway I'm kinda up in the air about what to do. I'd be getting a car that's 3 years older and has 25,000 more miles... but at the same time, I'd be getting a Honda that will probably outlive me.

Thoughts?

I think you should get the Accord and sell the other car. Either way, welcome to the site.
