UK cdti engine swap

Default UK cdti engine swap
hi could anyone help I have a 54 2.2 cdti (engine dead)could i put one from a 07 in, it has the 6 speed g/box the 54 is a 5 speed g/box. any help would be appreciated thanks

Not good with the UK models, most of us are in North America......sorry, wish I had some insight I did change the title to try to help draw attention from those that might know.
