That could be a good idea. I don't think moderators can do that. The admin is a guy with screen-name WheelBrokerAng, maybe send him a PM.

Maybe first, lets see if this post generates some responses from other UK people. Instead of northeast UK, how about an "ALL-UK" forum to get more people in it?

Peter Lawrence = Scotland
T Wild = Manchester
stevio = Manchester
skippy = just outside London
Big_P = Leeds
Moppie = New Zealand (well, not really very close to Manchester at all...)

I know there's more, but I got too lazy to search for them.

There IS a regional forum for "Canada, Overseas & Elsewhere" which just makes everyone think that we only welcome USA members. If you make enough noise in there, maybe they can split one off for UK.

I just looked at our glorious Canada & Elsewhere board, and there's more spam traffic than anything else. I've just never spent much time on the regional boards. To be honest, my interest in this place is about helping guys fix their cars - not organizing meets.

It may be that the "Rest of the World" is just too large for a single get-together at some pub.

I'm up for that Pub meet. Food sounds good. Lots of warm real ale. ZZZZZ!
Sorry real ale always does that to me. Better stick to larger.
