Default Why an Accord over other choices?

Apologies if this not ok or in wrong place. Looking for some intell from experts.

Looking to buy a new car... Camry, Accord, Altima, Kia, Hyundai, etc. For a '21 or '22, why Accord over other choices?

I'm also curious if owning or driving an Accord around
feels different? Sometimes you can't tell what it feels like having one until it's too late (bc you bought it already).

Thanks much.

I like the way they feel, but that's subjective. A former co-worker says his Accord has too-stiff suspension (compared to his Camry). My daughter had the same year and I didn't think the suspension was harsh at all. Personal taste, so take a good test-drive. I try to pay close attention to how the car fits & feels. Things like the pedals or the shift lever being at a slightly awkward position, or anything like that. A minor thing during the test drive can become very annoying after you own it for awhile, so be picky.

I also think Honda has some of the nicest-feeling manual transmissions. But today it's difficult to get a manual, so ???

Because they're "sensible"...ergonomically, economically...they just make sense. So much, in fact, that they've often been classified with the mundane in the automotive world. Honestly, I'm not really an Accord driver by choice. My family's circumstances(2 daughters in college) swayed me away from the high-end Euro cars and toward what made much more economic sense. While it did take some time to adjust(...with some moderate suspension mods), I have grown to actually enjoy driving my 7th gen just as much as I enjoyed my previous Audi A4....and it costs significantly less to do so.

Default Key

I have lost the only key to my 2004 honda accord. The dealership said it will cost 1,200 because they will have to replace the ignition???

Have you contacted a licensed locksmith? They're typically capable of producing a duplicate key from your existing locks, some of them can 'code' them for you as well. It's not going to be cheap, but probably less than the dealer.
