Default Windows/key problem

Windows open when using key. Is this normal on 2017 accord?

We need more information to understand the issue. When you say, "key", do you mean the fob? Your Accord does have key-less entry, right?

The fob has a key also. I used to key to open the door as a test. The windows rolled down and the sunroof opened. I had to start the car to close them. Is this normal?

It is a normal feature on certain models. Even older generation Accords (e.g., EX trim, etc.) had this feature.

If you don't hold the key in the unlock direction, it will not open the windows and moonroof. To unlock the doors only, just turn the key and release (letting it return to the central position).

You can use the key to close the windows and the moonroof too.
