W'Sup Guys.
Hello. My name is Dre. Im a 27yr old male from St. Louis, MO. Im new to this Honda forum but im not new to the forum scene.
I am in the process of courting a 2012 Accord Coupe. The design style and lines of the Accord coupe caught my eye shortly after I purchased my 2011 Sonata and recently a friend of mine purchased herself a 2012 Accord Coupe and I just had to see what the hype was all about.
I took a pair of 2012 coupes out for a test drive today. The first one with cloth seats and no roof---was too plain jane and didnt appeal to me at all. It just felt like something was missing. My sonata's cloth interior is far superior and more appealing IMO.
On the other hand, the 2.4 with nav, power leather and roof was more my style and this version of the car drove really well. The suspension and steering was tight and very accurate. At no moment did I feel like I didnt have complete control of the car. The ride was 100x's more enjoyable and a little quieter than the base accord i drove previously. Factory Nav isn't a necessity, becasue I have aftermarket stereo plans.
Im looking to trade my 2011 Sonata for a 2012 Accord. Yea I know, huge size diff. I figured I would come here and get familiar with the Accord prior to purchase inorder to familiarize my self with the ins, outs, ups and downs of this car before hand.
I like to mod my cars. Tint, Aftermarket DD, HIDs, Tinted Tails and Husky Weather Beater Floor Mats are first up on the list if I purchase the car.
Well that should do it. I shall enjoy my stay here.
