Default 2005 Accord SE w/ v6

Hi all, new to the forum and new to modding my car. It is a stock v6 engine at 240hp, I'm looking at adding an electric super charger for an added kick when I need it.
Would a stock v6 handle a electric super charger? Are they worth it?
The one I was looking at is a 5 psi with a micro switch you mount on the floor under your pedal. With a potential gain of 15-60hp.

I read in another post a stock v6 can handle 8psi I just need to know this isnt going to kill my engine and tranny.

Thanks all

Lightbulb Hi Member

Want power to boot...go Nitrous..Zoom,Zoom from a shot of NOS.
From that you can get 35-50-75 quick horse-power .
