I heard a v6 is harder to modify bc there are not as much aftermarket parts or something for it vs a 4 cyl where it's easier to modify.
So if you plan on using turbo and s/c's ur gonna need all ur bolt on's i think. u can modify v6's. But I think people choose to boost 4cyl bc they r cheaper i guess.

V6's have lots of potential but again the aftermarket parts are harder to find. Plus for most people the V6's has plenty of power to suit them for their style of driving. Plenty of power unlike our heavy a** little 4 bangers[:@][:@][:@]. God my Accord is so heavy. What is the weight of 6th gen coupes? I know the sedans are like 3900lbs. or something like that...

well after owning my 95 Accord LX V6, I truly never bought any after market parts for it because 1:Headers I would have to pay double for 2: i could never find any decent parts to even fit - let alone be useful if i found any at all......Its really hard to mod a friggin forgien v6 :P

no way a 6th gen sedan is 3900 pounds. that's heavier than the 7th gens. I think people also mod 4 bangers bc they r lighter.

Where did those numbers come from? I know MSN is not always right, but for the 2000 Accord,it says:
4cyl LX AutoSedan =3075 Coupe = 3014
4cyl LXManual Sedan = 3020 Coupe = 2948
4cyl EXAuto Sedan = 3120 Coupe = 3048
4cyl EXManual Sedan= 3064 Coupe = 2981
It only makes sense to me that the coupe weighs less than the sedan.

I think the real reason is because until the 7th generation, the V6 didn't have amanual option. The auto sucks and dies with the power it has ...... I think the J30 can take 600 HP no problem if built right.
