Does anyone have any ideas on how to make the car more powerfull without spending to much money? It's a 84 Accord LX hatchback.

 

Jeez, its gonna be kind of hard to find performance parts for an 84. I would say try to find a K&N filter that fits in your air cleaner (Im assuming your car is carbed?), and have a custom mandrel bent exhaust at a local exhaust place, with a good muffler. Thats probably the easiest way, and also the cheapest. Trying to find a header that is made for your car is going to be difficult, and having one fabbed for you will probably cost a good deal. Same goes for a turbo, its going to cost a lot. You could probably find a nitrous kit that would work, but Im not sure, I dont know a whole lot about nitrous.

what does the 84 accord look like? i had an 86 accord lx before and wanted to mod it but no parts. .fortunately there was this smart japanese import tuner who fabricated a custom intake for my car. .i was so happy. .i sold the car to someone who does not even drive it so im going to buy it back!! i will sure be posting pictures of my 86
