low boost, no fuel management

low boost, no fuel management
iive got a t3/t4 setup from ebay. my wastegate is set at .25 bar which is like 3.5 psi. is it straight to just throw it on and run low boost until i can get injectors and such, or is that a bad idea?

RE: low boost, no fuel management
At that low boost you should be fine with stock fuel system as long as you don't try to drag race everywhere, as the stock system will run the engine very lean at high rpms. Also from this point on, even with that low boost, run with premium gas 91 octane minimum. If you go beyond 10psi later, you'll start wanting to use lower compression pistons and adjusting your ecu to retard engine timing at higher rpms

RE: low boost, no fuel management
sorry, no link, but i just pieced the whole thing together separately on ebay--u could do thesame. bought the snail and manifold from some dude my buddy knows who apparently had a turbo accord. got a cheap smallfmic from one of those no-name ebay companies, charge piping and downpipe from the same, andthe tial wastegate w/custom spring was the most expensive part---spent under $700. everything looks good and fits together well. so ill let u know how it works out- maybe next week or so
i also need help w/ a head swap, but ill post in appropriate area

yes brewmeister, the f22b engines had 8.8 to 1 ratios, but even then the engine is desgined for non boost. Higher boosts will require compression ratios as low as 8.4, 8, or in some extreme cases, 7.5 to 1. Extreme of course I'm talking 30+ psi.
