AND IF IT ISNT THEN CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME FIND A GOOD TURBO SETUP SINCE THERE ARE NO KITS OUT THERE FOR THE 03+ MODELS...
THANKS
THANKS
I looked around a little to see if I there is anything out there for you and I didn't come up with much, sorry. There are a lot of V6's that are supercharged as opposed to turbo, not saying that they don't though. Your car is pretty new and time will produce forced induction for your car, I think it will be supercharged though, at least if you looking for a kit. I know that comptech has made some nice supercharger kits for hondas, like the NSX. As far as your internals, it has been said that you can run 8 psi safely, but don't quote me.

Superchargers dont seem worth it to me because they are expensive and you dont get too much power out of them. Turbos i know will give me more power but i dont want to blow my engine in 6 months if i turbo it..thats why i asked whether i would have to change them or not.

On the other hand, for the cost of putting a risky turbo kit on your car, you can build a really powerful NA Motor, and have something you can rely on.
Supers are nice, cuz they make hp from any rpm, but... supers kill gas milage. but turbos have to build up speed, but they almost always help gas milage, and give you the extra boost. You choose. but thats just my $.02
I agree with TheBackRoads. I use to have a VW Corrado G60, I put a smaller pully on its supercharger and that car would really take off!! Also, my dad just built a 1975 triumph TR6 engine up and put a mercedes supercharger on it. He got it dynoed, with out supercharger 68 hp 105 torque, with supercharger 167 hp 218 torque. I would gladly supercharge my car...
not enough room for a SC kit for 7th gen V6 accord.
Difficult to turbo due to exhaust collectors cast as part of cyl heads.
you can use SRI, buy premium fuel for an extra 10HP, Under drive pulleys, less restrictive "J" pipe, get lighter wheels

You should expect to lose gas mileage on either set up...neither will save you any money in that department. I'm more partial to turbos myself. One reason being the sound, and another that it isn't driven off the crank shaft. If you properly install a turbo on a stock motor, tune it right, change your oil when you need to, and run lower boost you can still expect a good deal of your engine life. I'm sure that equally applies to superchargers, but I don't think you will get as much life out of your motor in comparison to turbo. Both will be dramatically better than stock. However, sounds like your looking at a tough install on either system.
