Look on the block in the front of your engine...it should be engraved.

8+psi will run, but how long is the question. It's been seen that after 8 psi the bottom end (ringlands and rods)is going through it. Some have run 12psi for a couple years while others didn't last a year at those pressures, but no one wants their engine to unexpectedly crap itself no matter how long it does or doesn't hold up.

I don't understand how people can say that you can run 8psi without modifying internals?
If your motor is 10:1 now it will be 15:1.
Where do you plan on filling up your tank? I haven't seen 108 octane fuel at many gas
stations lately.

People say it because they do it, simply. I'm not sure of the compression on the F22, but the F23 is 9.3:1. Personally I wouldn't run over 7 on stock internals, but the fact is a lot of people do sucessfully, but like I said, for how long? There's cases of engines going after 6 months and cases of running higher than 8 with a good tune and going multiple years. This is based on the turbo accords that I'm am familiar with. The F23 and F22b are identical in some aspects.

most folks run 6 psi on an all stock motor but i've seen a few running 10 w/out problems...as with anything, your results will vary but i would suggest staying at 6 or so if you plan to jump on it...i am getting ready to throw a T25 (yeah, yeah, i know...) with a 2g DSM mani, 450cc dsm injectors, chipped P06 ecu and fmic...i've been reading up on it and i figure it'll take about a week to do it right but i know most do it over a weekend or so...research pays...
