Because it would get demolished. Number of cylinder, horsepower, and torque don't mean much these days. What counts is how you put it on the road through tires, suspension, gearing, clutch, etc. The Accord is built as a family car and performs like one (with some guts) and the S2K is a sports car (built for speed, not comfort. lol). My car is 2.3L, I certainly wouldn't f*** with a 1.8L Lotus, a 2.0/2L S2K, 2.0L Evo, or 2.0L STI. The last two weigh in about the same as your Accord (a little less) and none have forced induction. So, in the end, I would say falkore's comparison are very reasonable. HP to weight ratio FTW and that is why an S2K will beat a V6 accord with ease.

ummm i assumed since he's obviously on a HONDA forum looking to tune up an 08 car maybe he should go towards those and its not even that slow so what are you talking about?????the S2000 is very fast i give it that but it wont beat a V6 at ease!don't get me wrong it'd win but you make it sound like the accord would get demolished

Finch: Evo and STI both are turbo-charged.
HPJ: Over 20% better power to weight with a better drivetrain to get it to the ground is a kill IMO. My bad, the Accord vs. Corvette comparison was ziggy's not yours.

really??well actually its believable because F22's are one of the best F series motor's in the honda line. but i think the J32A6 or J32A8 would give you a serious run for your money..especially the A8 with a 6 speed..true you'd beat a J30A1,A2,and maybe the J32A1....but A2 and up on the J32's,well damn i'd like to see that...i'd pay money.
