Default $2000 for cat and pads

Well um i dah a p0420 code, which is reduced emissions or something, so honda takes an hour and a half to tell me my cat is low efficency and needs changing, well i did the cat on my blaze and i figured hey that was a 4.3 v6 and around $400, so hey this must be about the same, but OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NO! they wanted $1200 just for parts, 1000 for the cat and 200 for random crap, then they said the brakes were low and wanted 400$ for just the pads not including install, the total came to $2000!!!!!!!!!!, need less to say i went to my boy kevin at prostreet, hes doing a full exhasut system, but im removiny the Y pipe that makes my car dual and going with single(and debadging the v6 emblem) and did all for brakes with cross drilled and sloted rotors with ceremic pads for $937

honda has always treated me good till now

Welcome to the dealership game, parts are over expensive, and labor is $100 a hour.

And yeah people always steal cats, at the Toyota dealership here when they were doing the recall on all their trucks they had a parking lot just full of the old rusted out trucks, and all the cats went mysteriously missing because you can get $60 a piece for them.
