I still remember that Tuesday morning waking up and turning on the TV just before going to school. Listened to it on the radio on the way and watched the coverage in my history class. Didn't find out that they had collapsed until I got to school since they were still standing when I left my house.

Ive been to ground zero, before they started construction. I was saddened to see everyone was smiling and taking pictures, as though it was some sort of tourist attraction. Kind of made me sick to see that. I certainly wouldnt go to the field in pennsylviana, or the pentagon, laugh and take pictures. (Well i wouldnt take pics). Thats all, just my two cents

I hope the families are strong on this day.

I remember, I was in 7th grade, we heard something got hit by a plane, then the teachers put us in the History room that had the news. I was in awe as I saw the first tower on fire, because I had never seen or known what the Trade Centers were. Of course everyone was just happy to be out of class. Then I remember seeing the second plane hit and the reporter going crazy yelling another plane has just hit, another plane has just hit. Then it was a sad day..... The day after I remember looking in the sky and hearing nothing. I remember that because they closed all the airports and it was weird to neither see or hear any airplanes.

My Wife and I were just standing out side on our driveway looking up at the sky and remarking to each other how noisy it was this evening up there, we remembered the erie quietness of that evening when no planes were flying anywheres in this country. We also remissed how the airport looked the next day with four or 5 dozen jets all parked in a row with no where's to go because they were grounded..but tonight we counted at least seeing about 2 dozen jets up there in the last 15 to 20 minutes...
