Default 2003 Honda Accord EX-L Question

Hello!

I am new to these forums. Been a Honda Accord owner since 1998 and loving it.

My question is this. Does the 2003 Honda Accord EX-L model come with an AUX connector? My 98 EXL was totaled in an accident two weeks ago by a drunk driver. I went today to put down a deposit on a 03 EXL. I did not check to see if it had a AUX connector. From what I recall, it did not.

Can anyone confirm?

If it doesn't have an AUX connector, what do you all recommend is a good setup to get my iPod in the car?

Thank you. Great site!

No the car does not have an accessible AUX input jack. BUt you can purchase an interface that will allow you to use your ipod with the stock HU. There are many available, and some are better than others. I'm not familiar with them, so that will be up to you. If the radio has XM, then even the text from the ipod will be displayed. If not each play list with be presented as a "Disc" and each song will be a track number.

Personally I recommend getting rid of the stock HU and going aftermarket, the advantages are endless.

I got one from Crutchfield, I think it was called USA Spec or something like that. It works OK. One thing that's better than an aux input jack, is that when you turn the car off, you don't have to remember to ALSO turn off the iPod.
