6th gen accord 4cyl vs mazda 3 and 6 4cyl

Hello all Im looking into getting a new ride for myself and have a list of these three rides...in terms of overall performance how would you compare these cars???

Getting the Accord in automatic? If so I'd get a mazda. Then again I love Mazdas too.

no Manual for sure it will be my first time too... which mazda??

Mom had the 2004 Mazda 6 (6cyl auto) and it was running about 6-8 MPG fewer than the Accord (4cyl auto). She was averaging about 21-22 mpg of mixed speed limit driving. Something to consider.
