1999 civic si:
Engine Size 1.6 liters / 97.3 cu. in.
Horsepower 160 @ 7600 rpm
Torque (lb-ft) 111 @ 7000 rpm
Transmission 5-speed manual

My 1995 Accord V6:
Engine Type V-6, sohc - 24v, mpfi
Engine Size 2.7 liter/163 cid
Horsepower 170 @ 5600
Torque (ft/lbs) 165 @ 4500
PLus a little extra torque/hp from intake and exhaust

Were racing from a stop about a quarter mile long, and also on the high way. I think ill probly lose in the acceleration cause my cars heavier and an auto. I might get the highway though, Ive done 130 easy but ran out of room. not sure about what the si can do on the high way

ur car weights in at considerably more 3285lbs versus 2612 and being about 25 hp difference you gonna loose if that guy can drive a stick

stock HP/LB ratings

1995acccord V6 automatic sedan 19.32
1999 civic si manual trans coupe 16.3

To get to his power toweight ratio you would need at least 201.3HP verus your maybe 185

so the short answer is:

You loose

You could drive what I got 307HP 2002 Acura CL type S and then you wouldsmoke him all day long(intake and headers) 307hp for 3518 lbs of car = 11.46lb/hp

Eh, they make them pretty quick. Basically it was stupid Chevys copycat of the SRT-4. But the Dodge smokes em' all day long.... Thats what makes Chevy and Ford soooo stupid. Instead of trying to build a worthy engine, they simply stick a supercharger on it. Not a turbo or two, but a supercharger, come on. Its no wonder why they suck so much!

Man, that doesnt even begin to make sense. You said you almost lost to the Cobalt LS, how do you figure you can beat a supercharged Cobalt? Lets see, 145 hp for a Cobalt LS, 171 for a Cobalt SS non supercharged, and 205 for a supercharged SS. Sorry homey, but if you just barely beat the LS, Im thinking you would get smoked by the SS. (assuming, of course, that whoever is driving it knows HOW to drive lol)

Uhh ok those things can almost hang with a stock CL type S. A CL type S is about 3 seconds faster to 60 that you car is.......
