i just got a ticket today because i didnt see the stop sign. There was a tree that was blocking it.
Doesnt anyone know how much it cost? I live in CA

 

fight it. if the tree was truly blocking the stop sign, you shouldnt be held acctable for that...take photos and the like. should be a slam dunk.

Yeah, and say you never have been o that road before or something. But def. take pictures, then drive on that road, and have a passenger take pictures from inside the car to prove it. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Are you sure it's 4 points? I know here in California reckless driving is only 2 points. I don't see any offense that would give drives more than 2 points here in California. If you know one I would like to hear about it.

 

CA is much different then what I'm used to..... it should only be 1 point for that ticket, however, 4 points can get you a suspended license. I would either fight it or enter a guilty plea and request traffic school to keep it off your record....

I failed to mention.... I got a failure to stop ticket once.... I had it deferred and attended traffic school (requires a guilty plea)

 

TAKE PICTURES AND FIGHT IT! Take pictures right away. Have a friend stand in front of the tree holding that day's newspaper (that way you prove the date the picture was taken.) You want to take the pictures right away in case the city all of a sudden decides to remove the tree, then you're screwed.
