Any one running a chipped p28 in f23a ?
Will a chipped P28 help my engine or it's a waste of money ? Does it needs any rewiring being an OBDI or just simple plug and play ?Any input is appreciated.

They sale plug n play wiring harnesses. But be prepared to pay atleast 400$
People use p28s as a universal tuning ECM for obd1 cars.
They flash it put crome or hondata on it and load a base map for that engine for tuning purposes.

you need a p28 obd1 ecu chipped with tuning software (I recommend talking with a tuner 1st to see what they tune with...then get that tuning software). Then you immobilizer issue is solved. You will need the obd2 to obd1 harness. Now your ready for a tune. I don't know a whole lot about the f23 intake manifold...but if it has the butterflies and if you want them to still function you will need a p72 ecu. Or you can simply do a butterfly delete or have the manifold ported and just have one set of big runners instead of the two sets of smaller runners.
