If you have an automatic and you're going to go through with this I strongly recommend that you try to powerbrake for the takeoff and pray that he's slow with the shifter.

He'll probably roast you unless he misses a shift....
Powerbrake: not as usefull in front wheel drive but it helps none the less: Put on the brake with as much pressure as you can, rev the car slowly to the point where it's about to break loose (in gear) and start moving, as soon as the light hits green release the brake and hammer the throttle down.
