I recently got back into plastic models, and this is the second car I made since then. I think it came out pretty well. I plan to make more JGTC cars.

Long time ago I "played" with some of these, always got mad at myself because I would mess something up.

I should think about trying again, need something to take up some time and now that the kids are older I won't have to worry as much about them "helping me out".

Yeah it's definitely something that can be enjoyable but can also be frustrating. Just gotta take a break when it gets frustrating and come back to it later.

This one took approximately 15 hours so it sure does take some time.

Howzit yeah I recently got back into it too. Currently building a teggy and a civic si coupe. More into the stance tho. The hobby is better now that they have castings of motor parts and upgrades. I recently ordered some itb's and cams for my b series motor and some 3 piece ssr mesh wheels.

Where did you order the parts from? I haven't seen too much as far as aftermarket parts go.

I did a few in my younger years, it would have to strike me though such as seeing two kits that would make an awesome project!
Been a looooong time now however since static, but am in and out again of RC where I've done a couple 1/24 scale builds, with 1 in the works, Wrangler, waiting to be finished.
I do have an old Tamiya 1/6 Harley police bike, couple wood boat kits, and a few larger scale RC projects.
Next time I get back into one, I'll post it up here.

As for parts, I've seen a bunch on Ebay, from custom parts to people parting out kits, I think some repro's too.

Finished my R34 today. Didn't come out as well as the R33 did, but still came out okay. Was missing a decal set, and I think it was old stock as the decals that it did have fell apart pretty easy. I will admit I rushed it too as I'm excited for the next one I'm going to build.

My next one, pretty excited as it has a fully detailed engine bay while the others didnt.

Some of the most impressive cars that I ever owned were 1/24 - that's the only way I'd ever be able to afford an E-type or a Testarossa, or a Chrysler Turbine, or anything like that. That was a long long time ago.

Now 1/32 were more impressive. Spitfire, P-51, Bf-109, Me-262, etc.
