This to me is a great example of a bad officer who thinks they know to much (see link at the bottom). Refusing to go to a war you were mobilized for because it's "illegal." Alright moron so now that they have paid for your edumacation you're smert enugh to know wha'ts rght or wrng? give me a break, any soldier or military personell will tell you that if you get called to serve you'll go, might not be happy about it but you'll go... and if you don't go then you just screwed someone who now has to take your place... and way to set an example for all the enlisted personell.... That guy needs to be slapped then spend at least 3 years breaking big rocks into small rocks in military prison and if the person who is forced to take his place makes a mistake and gets someone hurt I think he should be charged with neglagent homicide....

So the war in Afghanistan is apparently legal, since he would be willing to go there. But not the war in Iraq. What is he basing this claim on, I wonder? And he's not even in the legal branch, he's infantry...
