which is a better security? no steering wheel or a steering wheel club?
so let me get this straight
im going to get into my car and drive, the steps i take are
1. unlock my door (with my keyless entry)
2. touch the pannel thing
3. and then start the engine?
is that all it takes?

Thunder, there are two or three systems of the Power Lock..Mine , the hands Free transponder model was installed by one of my guys who does installs for me so that when I walk up to my car, my doors unlock automatically, this is done by my transponder which is on my key ring. Also when I walk away from the car, it locks it the same way and it then imoblizes the car by creating an open circut that disables the starting circut of my starter. Thats the key that makes this system tamper proof...
So yes, your post is what it is..sweet isn't it !

Mine has that too, but upon researching it when I got mine, it is not hard to bypass at all.
This would basically be a sure proof one that I would like to own someday, plus it can be used w/ other alarms.

my alarm has a kill switch
you cant turn on the engine unless you pressed the button on the alarm key

1 if youre getting an after market steering wheel for the purpose of removing it when youleave your car, why would you need the club?
2 unless the aftermarket steering wheel issolid steel as think as the club it wont because they have small hacksaws that can cut through that in a minute as well.
3 you could always invest in a http://www.trunkmonkey.com/

just get two of those boots that traffic cops put on when you don't pay a parking ticket... you know what i'm talking about?... those would be bad ... i would put one in the front right wheel and the other in the rear left wheel so it can't be towed...
oh! even better, if you have an auto, disconnect the tcu part of the harness..... that will get them questioning whats going on.... car turns on..... but wont go into gear! lol
