my dad told me that since gas prices are so high right now, there are people who will penetrate your gas tank and steal your gas! WTF!
i was wondering if i could change my gas tank to titanium or something so that it wont be pentratrateable
if i can, where could i buy it?

 

Don't know of a titanitum tank for hondas. Even if there was one, some one who wanted to get into it could. Just be glad your car's tank is a lot harder to tap into then one on say an SUV (ground clearence). You'd have to lift the car up to get a drill under there or whatever.

Sounds pretty crazy to take a drill to a gas tank. May as well smoke a cigarette as you do it!

 

actually, that's very true about the ground clearance, didnt think of that, lol
and im planning on lowering my car anyways, so it will be even harder to drill into the tank

 

That is unbelievable.
The gas prices must be really getting to some people. Perhaps the British are too stiff lipped for their own good

 

im sure you could get a custom titanium gastank for a couple grand

 

Ive never heard of anything but steel tanks and plastic tanks for cars, so I doubt that there are any titanium tanks being made..

it obviously would have to be custom, hence over 1000 for the price tag lol

 

just get a 1/4" thick sheet of stainless steel custom cut to cover the gas tank underneath and bolt it on. Then it provides some new low weight and makes it harder to get into... plus stainless is cool....

 

Or take your gas tank out and use a fuel cell mounted in your trunk.

 

get a ROTTWILDER dog and put the dog house next to where you park your car at night ,, make sure dog has a long chain ..
