Question Can't choose 2017 Sport SE or.....

Hello I'm about to buy a Honda (my second) and can't choose between the 2017 sport se or the 2017 ex-l v6? I'm really torn and cant choose any input?

Thank You

Hello. Welcome to the forum

Speaking as someone who traded a '15 Sport for a '16 EX-L V6, I'll vote for the EX-L V6... You'll be getting more features and a noticeable power increase.

Either way though, both trim levels are great cars. Enjoy

I just bought my second. My 1st was March 1981, 2nd 3 months ago--my company were Honda *****.

The 183 hp in the 2016 Sport is more than ample for me, but we surely are not all the same. The V6 would be fun. People like myself do not need it. You might.

Then again, why get a V6 with a slushbox transmission; wait for the next generation Accord and get a 280+ HP I4-Turbo with a 6-Speed manual transmission; that's much closer to the definition of fun.

Wink I do not need the extra power, others love it

My Honda has plenty of pep for me. My brother has a Corvette--yes, he spent mucho for a car that rides like a mule with a broken leg, but he likes the power and he has the $$$.

An Accord without the extra pep is just right for me. Does not mean it is for others.

Suddenly my '14 is old and worn out.

If only they made it in a convertible or a station wagon.

If I could afford a new car every year, I would pony-up. My wife drives a 2014 Taurus with 28,500 miles. It now seems ancient.

Before I bought this Accord, I drove a 1994 Toyota 4-Runner that, no doubt, will go another 150,000 miles. My wife HATED it, which was funny.

Are you referring to the 2018s?

Sadly for 2018 there will be no Accord Coupe OR V6 offered.

WHY? Love the power and durability of the V6 and am skeptical of the turbo 4's
