Default Christmas stuff!

Well since Thanksgiving has already come and and gone its not time to start thinking about Christmas/The Holidays!

I just was wondering what you guys do thats special to you and if you have any amazing recipes for a Christmas Dinner or whatnot if you celebrate it n' such.

1.) What you do on Christmas
2.) A Christmas food you look forward to
3.) Any Christmas memory, or planned Christmas events!

1.) Our family usually goes to our relatives on Christmas Eve so we can enjoy a homely Christmas on Christmas day.
2.) I always look forward to the cheesy potato bake and Green Bean casarole! Yuuuummmmmm!!!
3.) Last year we were at my aunts, and we had a turkey. So when it was done, my dad and uncle were cutting it up, but they cut it while it was still in the foil baking pan. This of course put a hole through the bottom, and all the turkey juice leaked through the bottom through my aunts electirc stove and on the floor. Hence, we had to get rid of the stove and her Christmas present to herself was a new stove! haha

Alright, so that was a little lame but aw well!

I miss the baking that my grandmother did when she was alive. She grew up on a farm in Germany with about 14 brothers & sisters, so all her cooking & baking was on alarge scale. All her recipies for Christmas cookies started with 10 pounds of flour. Her springerle cookies were really good. And herstollen (like a sweet-bread) started with 25 pounds. It's amazing I didn't weigh 400 back then.

1.) We're heading to Corpus Christi to visit the in-laws... Fun....
2.) Turkey of course! And maybe some cherry pie!
3.) We got a dog when I was younger, smartest lil ****-ant ever. Except a few times: he pissed on the Christmas tree and shocked himself.. that was funny to see.. he never did that again. I also had gotten a Dukes of Hazzard electric race track that had a jump on it... when the car would jump, my dog would try to catch it in mid air.. it was funny to see..
Funny part is that he once tried getting it but got the track instead, and it shocked him there too... Poor guy, got shocked all the time.
