Does my car have an attitude?
The poor old fella is back to life
I went to Honda and got an IACV o-ring from a 4th gen - not quite right but I was able to make it fit/work. It was a bit of a pain but I figured once I got it on there I shouldn't have to "see it again" for another 100k miles.
Fired it up last night, a little "spit and sputter" at first - prob some left over carb cleaner - but then caught and idled fine. The best thing, no more light.
As soon a F1 is over in a few minutes, I'll go out and finish putting everything back on - intake tubes and that. Then I'll take the little fella out for a short drive - yes it is Saturday so time to take the garbage to the dump.

Glad you got it running right. Really stinks that our cars are getting to the point where the parts are no longer made. There has been 2 or 3 parts I have tried to get for my rx7 that the dealer no longer offers.
Yea, that is part of the fun of the old ones. There are some rear bushings on it that are making noise, problem is - no one has them
So a little lube every few months and keep driving.
