Some jerk stole my exhaust from the Ex Manifold to just past the CAT....I can't find a downpipe anywhere OR a CAT that doesn't cost $3000 from the dealership... I can't sell the car, I can't drive it , I can't get one from AZ because Commiefornia will seize it..... Ugh I'm despirate. Thank you for any help on this...

 

So someone lifted your car and stole the down pipe? That's crazy.

Why don't you get one off eBay or rockauto. If you are near a junk yard you can check there to see if they have it.

 

I’ve heard through the grapevine that CAT thefts are rampant. I’ve called 7 different wrecking yards and even got a laugh from one place when I asked if they had a down pipe.

The Rock Auto ones, from what I’ve read, won’t cut the CA mustard and will be rejected at smog. *sigh*. F@#%*!

Need downpipe and CAT (if possible). Or I just sell the car as is. Probably to a wrecking yard because I cannot really “sell” it like it is.
