Forum's Not Liable for Poster Comments according to Ruling

Essentially it has just been ruled that Forum, boards, websites (like myspace.com) etc can not be held liable for defamatory statements. So If I wanted to post something that said someone is a dofus and list an e-mail that they sent me I could do that wherever I wanted and only I would be liable. Which is the way that I think it should be. I don't see why someone should be able to sue myspace.com for providing a place for people to post and then coming under legal attack when someone degrades the name of another person.... That's like suing a paper company for kidnapping since the kidnapping note was written on their paper!! It's about time people take responsibility for their actions online.
