yeah, weird thing happened...
i was playing grand turismo 3 a few months ago and i upgraded my ford mustang until about 500-700 horsepower, then when i recently went back on to start playing again and check my car stats, it said i have 70 something lbs of torque!
WTF!, my accord has more than that
what happened to my torque?!!!
i had about every upgraded possible in the game, except a level 2 tune-up and i didnt have the racing chip

 

did the car take off like it had 70 lbs of torque??

actually, it didnt take off like it had 70 lbs of torque, but it said it has it, so that just worried me

 

Must be a glitch if it's taking off fine. It should burn all the way through 4th with the TC turned off.

well, i deleted my file and im gonna start over, which cars are very necessary for me to use throughout the game?
im thinking a civic for my FF car, mustang for the FR, MR2 for the MR? i havent really been far through the game, so i dont know which cars are most useful for the races, i want something that also has good horsepower and handling

 

I had a 3000 GT VR4 in that game that had over 1000 hp.

MR2 is awesome for the MR untill the higher end races. You can actually make pretty much any of the cars handle good if you tune the suspension and brakes right.

 

ya i know a glitch that if you tune it just right you can make a 1000+hp car do a wheelie and 300+mph but it has its downsides like the only track that you have enough room to do that is the test track

 

I believe the best one is the pikes peak escudo you can get something like well over 1000 hp on that. and, its not really a glitch, if you have the drag on any car right, you can get it to do that at over 200 mph

 

well i got mine up to 350 (pikes peak) and there are certain days works on gt4(idk bout gt3)where you can get special black super cars like the toyota gt-one(i think that what it is) and i got it close to the pikes peak at around 320

GAH MAKES ME WANT TO PLAY IT AGAIN!!

OK i tested it again and with my special black '92 nissan R92 CP Race Car i went a top speed of 336 mph
