Default Has anyone ever had their radiator for the whole life of the car?

Just curious, if anyone had their radiator last the whole life of their car or never had to replace a radiator? Currently, I am in good shape knock on wood. My car has already gotten its oil change, now I have to wait for the techs to get back from lunch and flush the coolant out as well as using a BG coolant additive.

Our 92 has the original engine, starter, transmission, radiator, thermostat, hoses(!!), alternator, PS pump, fuel pump, filter(!!), injectors, plugs(!!), wires, distributor, rotor, cap.

We replaced the original Panasonic battery two years ago.

Even though the car spent its first eight years in a very harsh climate (not garaged),there is nota single split or deterioration in the dash, or door plastic, nor is there a single tear, or ever wear spot, in the originalcloth upholstery.

Honda used to know how to build a good car. I'll let the owners of newer Hondas say if that's changed.

I haven't owned my car for it's entire life but as far as I can see my 81 honda still has it's origonal radiator... It has one small tear in the drivers seat and the origonal carpet is a bit smashed down but otherwise it's in good shape

i'm the 3rd owner as well, and believe everything in the car is original (except my mods).

That's awesome! I would get those plugs replaced. Is it the air filter you need to replace? I got a K&N air filter in mine. This 99 Accord EX pretty much has all the original stuff (knock on wood). I really like the body style!

Thanks for all the replies. I appreciate it.

Why replace the plugs?

I may be a tightwad, but I have actually replaced the airand oil filtersreligiously.(I alsotake a bath at least once a year, whether I need it or not.) It is the fuel filter I have not replaced.

That's just utterly amazing. Does the car still drive like new?

I thought the plugs are original if they are not than don't replace them. I would just replace them for peace of mind purposes.
