Default Has anyone owned 6th gen Accord V6 + Acura RL?

Evening

Just wondering if anyone has owned a 6th gen V6 Coupe and a 2006 on Acura RL (aka Honda Legend in UK)

Am pondering finally moving on from my V6 Coupe to something newer and have an interest in the Legend of which can be picked up for an absolute bargain on these shores.

Just wondering if theres any major difference between fuel consumption between the older 3.0 V6 and the slightly newer 3.5 V6

Thanks for any help

I have 3.5V6 in a 03 MDX. It gets about 15 mpg in town and 20-23 on the road. In an Accord or Acura, it will do significantly better, perhaps 18-20 and 25-30.

For economy, the 4-cyl is tough to beat.

good luck

Thanks. How is your car for total cost of ownership? Even though you may take a hit at the pumps, do you reckon it trumps German brands for reliability and service costs?

I've owned Hondas and Acuras and hands down they are lowest maintenance of any cars I've owned in 50 yrs of driving.

03 MDX has been great and is at 160K miles presently. Runs like a top and gets "rode hard and put up wet" by my son.

good luck
