Default Honda Accord HID's

I have a 01 Accord coupe and i want to put HID's, but i hear that you need projectors. I just wanna know if these projectors would work.

If you guys know of a better brand or which projectors do you guys recommend let me know please.

The myth that you need projectors to have HIDs isn't true. HIDs won't melt your stock housing or anything like that.

But in the stock housing you might get some glaring because the HID bulbs are longer than stock bulbs. This may cause unwanted attention from other drivers and police.

im running 8000k hids in my 97 lx, i have had hids in the last few cars i have owned and installed them in friends cars, what i have found is that the bigger the assembly the more glaring you will get, the accord assemblies are a little deeper and not as big and as a result has a more focused beam, making it not so bad for oncoming traffic.

you can get a full kit of hid's for under $40 if you order on amaZon.

Talking Thanks For That Info Slim

Now if we could only get the folks who put them in and don't know what they are doing to align the headlight, then I could quit carrying around my Hammer
