i think something is wrong. I own a 98 sedan accord special edition. I went for around 290, that is my tank of gas. How about you guys? It that how much i was supose to get for the milage? and how many gallon do i have for my car? (i dont have the manual)

 

i think you might be able to go a little more depending on your driving style. ie. slow down, dont gas it as much. lose some unnecessaryweight in the car. a little tune up may help too like seafoam to clean the injectors and the cylinders.

my mileage is actually about there since i dont really take my own advice but i should.

 

I have a 02 V6 with aem CAI and greddy catback
I have a 18~20 m/g in city and 24~27 m/g in highway

 

In the 2000 LX - I get about 380 - 400 miles beforethe gas light comes on.
My mileage used to be about 31 city, now it's down to about 29 city driving running the a/c the whole time when it's about 90 outside.
I haven't changed my plugs yet.I will soon.
I'm not sure what the V6 gets. My wife drives it. i think she usually gets about 330-350 miles to the tank though.

 

When is the last time your spark plugs & air filter were changed?
You don't have a Check Engine Light on do you?

 

I got 29.9 mpg last time I checked. That's a combo of city and highway with AC running about half the time.

 

About 75% freeway and 25% city I get about 28-30 with ac blasting. Thank god it's cooling down.

 

i change my spark plug not too long ago and i install my intake so the air filter is clean. I think i might know what the problem is. I have a 15 inch JL audio in back of my trunk. I guess that is the most weight in my car. i think the box is around 45 pounds.

 

Geez, last time I checked.. my mileage was about 23 mpg. (60% highway + 40% local)
