Default I could never cut it being a tech

I decided I would try and put a T-stat in my winter beater 94 accord. In the winter it would take forever for the gauge to go up, and after a while it would just go back to cold and the idle would go wacky. I would get heat like you normally should, just the gauge really slow.
So I spent the 8 bucks on a Tstat and gasket for the housing. Look up the book time. Mitchell shows .7 All data said .8 No biggie, lets do this at work in the shop.
Well it took about 1.8 from start to finish. Including running up to operating temp.
I think I took .7 just to find the bolts I would keep dropping.

But the good thing is it seems to have fixed it. Temp gauge came right up.
I don't think I could make it as a mechanic. I cuss way too much, lol. I'll stick to selling the work and let the guys in the back get the bruised knuckels.

I enjoy working on my Mustang alot more. Stuff is alot easier to access. Plus its still new.

I hear you on that. I don't mind working on my car (even though I get mad at times) or friends car. Constantly working on other peoples cars 5 days a week would drive me nuts even if I was paid a decent wage.
