I had no idea snowmobiles were this fast...and the driver is insane! Almost gettign in crashes...and well driving it on the road! I have newfound repsect for snowmobiles.

Thats insane. And it cant be good for the snowmobile lol. The funniest part is toward the end where he pulls up on the motorcycle, the rider turns his head to look like "WTF!!??"

What is crazier is to see a snowmobile hydro plane across at lake at 80mph. Now thats insane!

 

Yeah snowmobiles are fast ive been to drag strips where some guys was racing against motorcycles and whooping them.

 

They are a blast to ride.... I live up in montana and if the winter is REALLY bad you'll see guys riding them down the roads (they do a whole lot better than a car!!) The lake skipping is just nuts to me, more than a few people a year loose their sleds to that one.... Those things feel like they are going to rip your arms off when you hit that throttle, they just use two "clutch" plates that essentially squeeze down or release a belt based on how much centrifical force there is (how fast they are spinning) and that essentially changes the "gear ratio" so to speak... They are a BLAST
