One of my buddies had one of those whe I was in high school. It had an aftermarket radio held in place by a home made box made out of paper mache (Did I spell that right? It's pronounced "mashay") Anyways...good memories.
i think you spelled it right...

i worked with a guy who had a late 80s chevy nova...you know, the toyota corolla brother? it was a 5 sp, but it wouldnt stay in gear...so he used a bungee cord to keep it in gear in 5th...
