Default Leasing reached 2 years-what to do

So... I have a 06' Mini Cooper w/ the Premium Package
It's been 2 years since it was bought by the previous owner (g/f) and I wanna get rid of it since it's a pain in the butt on my wallet. What should I get? I was considering a Civic year 2000+ maybe an 03-04... but SI... Any suggestions on model/year or even some other car? (I know falkore's choice!)

If you were able to get yourself to drive a mini, I'd go for a fit. When gas hits $5 you won't be sorry. If I could get my accord in a single cyl diesel, I would...[sm=nerd.gif]

I would definitely get the Civic SI if at all possible. have you looked for any Acura Integras? They are hard to find not ragged out, but that would be my next choice for a car - Either a Civic or an Integra. Integra is DOHC and much more responsive to mods. The Integra GSRs have a pretty hot little DOHC VTECin them (170hp), but you have to use premium fuel and it is hard to find one of those for a decent price that hasn't been ragged out.

Personally, I think the 92-96 Civics are the best looking ones, but they didn't come out with the SI till 2000.

My best friend has an '02 SI ..... it's cool, but not really for me. I'm not a huge fan of the body shape or that it's hard to see over the dash. On the other hand, it handles awesome and the K20 kicks @$$.

this is the 3rd time im writing this...

SI in PR = $$$ + f-up
Integras = f-up

Found GTI from buddy's bro-in-law
-turbo and very nice.
-gives me 1 yr warranty on his shop
-cheaper oem parts.

what do you guys think?

VW's reliability is garbage. Plus, I don't really trust that a turbo hasn't been abused by the previous owner. Do they sell Scions in PR? AFAIK, it's the only USDM only, japanese made car ..... my tC, that is. I think there are Yota equivalents for all of the x's in europe (not sure though).

yeah, but it's expensive. VW have a pretty decent rating here. mini pays 500+ and i can afford it anymore.

im still looking @ hondas.
17-19k for an 01' s2000... no way
