Default Military Pic thread

From looking around the forum, it seems there are a bunch of military/ex-military folks here so I thought I'd start a mil pic thread. I didn't go looking around to see it had been done before as typically I don't like to go bringing back a zombie thread from years and years back. Mostly because many members are no longer on the forum. That makes comments and questions about a particular image irrelevant to the thread. So, here we go:

My first image is from a deployment to the AOR. The image is a radial thermometer (I think that's what they're called) and the picture was taken around 6:00 PM after the sun was almost down.....I think this was in August or maybe September. I just know it was in 2007.

Please feel free to add your pics....doesn't have to be from a deployment, just mil related.......sean

While I never served, my hat is off to all that have/are.

Mine is by relation. My avatar is a pic of the oldest son just after graduation from OCS USMC.

I was stationed in Biloxi, MS at Keesler AFB when hurricane Betsy came through in September of 1965. We were ordered to quarters and told to put masking tape on all windows... Gotta' love Uncle Sam

The coldest I have ever been.

A picture I sent a friend of mine that asked if I was getting a good tan in Afghanistan

Any guesses to where this is? Three hints, it's hot and humid, it's not in the CONUS and it's part of the US.

Taxiway/flight line at Anderson AFB, Guam. It was so humid you could see the humidity hanging in the air. It isn't about to rain or anything in the picture. Just humid.....sean
